The Team

Rakes Parmar

When I first started out as a parent governor, I simply wanted to find out what went into providing a service for my children and seeing what difference I could make. Little did I know that it would be the start of an exciting, interesting and challenging journey, where on the way I would feel a sense of real achievement and satisfaction! Early years is one of the most interesting places to be and it is a privilege to continue to be part of it.

Himisha Patel

I have worked at the Centre for many years and as Headteacher since 2007. I am passionate about ensuring that all children and families have every opportunity to thrive. In order to achieve this,  I have worked closely with the governing body to ensure that we follow statutory guidelines and to ensure that the highest standards of education and care are provided for all children.

Profile coming soon.

Vice Chair

William Mayor

I'm the Governor responsible for data and communications. That means I help the Governing Body analyse things like assessment data. I'm also responsible for the Governors' Newsletter, and the Governor's section of the website. I'm also on the Advisory Board for the Children's Centre, so I get to help out there too. Finally (and most importantly) I'm a parent of a Grove student.

If you see me around at an event, come and say hi!
