Coronavirus Update... 14.09.20

It is lovely to have lots of our children back at nursery, and they are all settling back in so well. Thank you to all of our parents and carers for following our procedures and helping to keep everyone safe. We are excited to have also started welcoming our new children into nursery this week.

Children who feel unwell

If your child is unwell with a temperature of 37.8 or above, a new persistent cough, or a loss or change in their sense of smell or taste you must keep them at home and begin isolating immediately. You must also inform the nursery as soon as possible. If you are able to get a coronavirus test and you receive a negative result, your child may return to nursery as soon as they are feeling well again. If you are unable to get a test your child must remain home from nursery for 14 days and the family must remain in isolation. If the child is feeling well after the 14 days of isolation is complete then the child may return to nursery as normal.

If your child has mild cold symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, but they are otherwise well, then they may attend nursery as normal. If you are unsure about whether your child can come into nursery please call the office and we will advise you.

For full details of our current procedures for children who are unwell please see our operating guidance document.

Coronavirus Update... 26.08.20

It goes without saying that the safety of the children and of our staff is our top priority. We are working hard and following the latest government guidance to develop and implement a new way of operating. This is allowing us to open to more children as safely as possible, focusing on measures that will help limit the risk of coronavirus transmitting within our setting. Please download and read our operating guidance here for the details of what we have put in place.

The government have put together some practical information and advice on going back to school and nursery. Click here to visit their website and read their advice.
